This site is for musicians and bands that seek to tour more, sharing here about venue info/gigs, inexpensive lodging, camping, van life, sharing contacts, stories, adventures on the way - like sights to absolutely see, after the gig dining, great breakfast on the road, route tips, travel help, info for all of us that play venues under 1500 or more capacity. Anyone playing above that capacity, most likely has a guy for everything. We gotta be that guy/gal for each other! This is FREE to join and post and to gather info. You can buy ads to promote you more, if you wish.
Join us setting yourself up to post and share. Why should I share my venue info? For sure, keep favorites to yourself, avoid completion. BUT there’s so much you can offer up. You’re welcome to share your bio and a few photos, YouTube or Vimeo links of your tunes - for a profile page. Please tell musician and band friends about us. The more we grow, the more we share, the more gigs we’ll all find and more!
Share your SIDE GIGS - we all need side work to help support our own music - promote other sources of income that you engage in. Let’s check each other’s side gigs out, and support each other to support ALL of our music. You can also BRAG UP YOUR MUSIC here. For what turns out to be less than $1 a day, you can run our carousel ads, 3 photos that run in a row, within a carousel of ads on our home page. Here’s that price breakdown; $5 a week x 4 make it = $20 per month, but we discount to our 3 month minimum for $50. 6 months $85… Only $150 for the year. We wanna offer 3 simple options.
To be on only the PLAY page - GIG info, tips, posts etc., or on the STAY page only - lodging info, tips, posts etc., or on the TOUR page only - travel info, tips, posts etc., ad costs drop to only $1 per week or $50 per year. 6 month minimum = $25 for 6 months. 2 easy options.
We’ll be promoting GetARoom.LIVE to 1000s of Facebook music pages around the US, on Instagram and other social media, and to 1000s more venues and musicians everywhere. We intend to keep prices this low for our fellow musicians. We’re artists helping other artists.
RECAP: Join us for free, zero cost, start posting, sharing info… for FREE people will see your bio, photos, music links when they read your posts. Post a lot with fun informative info, that you WANT to share. Tell music friends! We’ll grow adding more collaborators, and we’ll all get more gigs and tour more with more knowledge. We’ll network more and make more music friends! Wanna promote yourself more? Be seen on more than just your profile page? TWO OPTIONS;“BRAG UP YOU!” (Your 3 photos about your music) Or “SIDE GIGS”(Your unique side income hustle). 3 photos rotating on the home page or - on one of the 3 main pages, PLAY (Gig info) STAY (Lodging info) TOUR (Travel info)… NOTE: You’ll need to make these photos square jpgs, and make sure they have your text info on, in the photo… legible, good sized domain name, email address, band name etc.
I David K, personally know from my life in music, that the more I connect and share with people in music circles, the more friends and trusted fellow passionate like minded people I meet… that trust turns into more gigs. But more importantly, I absolutely gain more experiences, more adventure, more friends and more joy.
