There are an amazing variety of unique and charming venues throughout the nation. It’s quite an adventure seeking them, finding them and performing in them. Most amazing is the people that you meet.

The West Theatre is a refurbished art deco theater in West Duluth, MN, capacity 245 or so. GREAT decor, funky little green room, behind above the stage. Judy Collins, Paula Poundstone are recent famed 2025/26 famed performers.

This adorable little theater used to be a Methodist Church in a town that has few houses and one other business, with… a restaurant that I’m not sure is still operating. Hubbard, MN is a few miles south of the much larger town of Park Rapids, MN.
