County Seat Theater, Cloquet, MN

This theater holds about 100 people and is a low ceiling, intimate venue with great acoustics. It used to be a Jehovah’s Witness Church. It mostly houses community theater, plays, but once in a while between productions, hosts concerts. We’ve played there a few times annually for many years. Our arrangement is, the very reasonable rent for the theater is taken out of the ticket proceeds. If we sell out we can do very well as a trio or a four piece. Often we try to book 2 shows in the same day or over a weekend to maximize efficiency. It’s a 2 hour drive from home in the Twin Cities, some bandmates have driven home, stayed at friends cabins or me, I’m 3 miles away at the KOA campground in my van if it’s not winter.
