Ruby Blu, frontwoman and songwriter of Minneapolis retro roots-rock band Red Eye Ruby, is returning to her North Dakota roots for a special solo tour.

Born and raised in North Dakota, Ruby spent part of her childhood in Medora—a place that helped shape her imagination and remains deeply woven into her story. This tour brings her back to the landscapes and communities that formed her, performing her original music in an intimate solo setting.

Red Eye Ruby’s music channels the soulful rock of Amy Winehouse and the rhythmic roots of New Orleans. Drawing from jazz, blues, folk and R&B, Ruby’s songs pair vintage glow with modern bite— and unflinching lyrics about life, labor and survival as a woman in the male-dominated music industry.
